A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"A great place, Great Friendly Staff and Locals. Great meals, BB Night, food and Middy of Beer, Cider or Glass of House Wine ($30) at most places. Defiantly Highly Recommend."
"Had an awesome steak, cooked perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed! Fabulous service and great atmosphere too, we will definitely be back!"
"We based our selves in Margaret River while completing the Cape to Cape walk. After a day of hiking we were looking for a solid meal. The District Club puts on a BBQ dinner which is hearty and good value, plus they have a bar."
"Relaxed vibe, cheap meals and very friendly staff. Went on a Monday night, so had to order before 6.45 as that is when their kitchen closes. A solid Monday night option. The online menu is different to their actual menu. Has a kids play area/ with kids toys and my group reported the toilets were clean. Nice cocktail menu at $11 per drink. Great location behind IGA. Lots of space & parking."
"For a small local club this one is a gem! Super friendly staff, very reasonable prices at the bar and on the menu. Small selection of good local wines with low markup. They are not fancy at all and don't pretend to be, just good food done well. We had steaks cooked just the way we asked and sides were very fresh . We were there just the week before the world changed and were very pleasantly surprised with our pleasing experience. Do these locals a favour and give them your support. We'll be back down in Margs next month and fully intend to go back to the club and spend some $s. Well done folks!"
"We just had the best Malay seafood curry at the Club. Sauce made from scratch with fresh ingredients and all local beers. Support the local community club and enjoy some local food and hospitality"
"Visiting from Sydney ! One of the best place to eat. Never disappoints. Called and asked about their menu. The lady was very nice and helpful. She deserves all the respect. Very sadly they opened only twice a week due to previous issues but now under new management they’ve set the standard high and raised their bar. In terms of food? The chef is amazing and the food is amazing. One of the best experience ever. Very genuine and customer care. I would strongly advise any locals to go and support your community by visiting this place. I would very recommend this place to anyone. I rate is place 5/5. Keep up the good job!"
"Great little local club. Food is limited and varies. Usually only on a Wednesday and Friday night. Drinks are cheap, a very local vibe. What you see is what you get here, but the people are very friendly and great company. They all have a story to tell. Sorry not much left - lamb shanks basic but huge and lots of flavour as you can see the plate is clean and desert was amazing glazed profiteroles."
